Véro’s first book: "One woman's transformational journey from a treadmill to running the African continent" will be published in conjunction with the beginning of her African Continent Run. It traces her journey leading up to the project and helps readers understand what drives her by revealing how she developed her Hyper Resilient Mindset.

Véro has begun work on her second book, which will follow her journey to be the first woman to run across the African Continent. The book will focus on her physical, mental, and spiritual journey to help readers understand the run itself, raise their awareness about the African continent, and bring attention to the shortages of safe water across the world.

'Fearless: One woman's transformational journey from a treadmill to running the African Continent’ shows how a route to a meaningful life and daily fulfillment is only possible when we aim for something outside of pure happiness; goals that are bigger than ourselves.

Against a backdrop of incredible scenery and adventure around the world, the author retraces her own unlikely running journey from a mother in her early 30s who didn’t even exercise before she hopped upon a treadmill, to a cult heroine who runs across entire countries and beats the boys to win 444 km races.

Along the journey, the author shows that it is the striving for goals, not only the reaching of them that create a sense of meaning and a real feeling of connection with other people. The book brings readers to the starting line of the author’s most ambitious run—the quest to become the first female in the man’s world of ultra marathoning, to run the entire country of Africa, north to south, Cairo to Cape Town where she will be providing clean and safe water to the remote parts of the world who don't have access to it.

At an early age Vero developed a strong passion for writing. Pursuing this passion for the written word, Veronique worked as a journalist for over 15 years, also receiving her master's degree in business administration before leaving and traveling to the most exotic parts of the world. Her ultra-running journey didn’t begin until the second half of her life. In running, she found a sport that brings out the best in her. Her ultra-running achievements gave her the privilege of becoming one of the best female athletes in Southeast Asia. She won different races ranging from 100 miles to 444 kilometers as well as an incredible 3010km self-supported run across Japan over 72 days. Vero believes that the only way to truly thrive in life and live meaningfully is to aim to achieve goals bigger than yourself. This is the reason why Veronique created ‘Run for Humanity’ a nonprofit organization with a mission to change the world by providing clean and safe water to remote parts of the planet that don’t have access to it.
