Necessity of Education for behaviours transformation to people
Run For Humanity believes that Education is an absolute necessity to transform people’s lives. It’s not enough to give water to people, we need to educate them on “why” it’s important for them to get access and to use it.
Run For Humanity also believes that Awareness is as important as getting access to water. We will provide Awareness through many forms: sports (running obviously), arts and communication (public speaking). We know that transformation takes place when we are emotionally connected with what is exposed in front of us. It’s when we bring energy up that we experimented the change, and it’s what we are committed to achieve. Run For Humanity believes that it’s through real human connection, love, and positive inter-connections that we experience behavioural transformation, so we can see real lasting change.

Woman empowerment

Giving access to clean and safe water will give access to women who walk miles and hours day in day out to become entrepreneurs, and improve their household economics. Women will be agents of change; they will improve the economic level in their community. Through our work, we will bring back girls who stop going to school to help their moms in their house works (e.g. help their moms by walking miles to bring water) As a woman myself and as I will be running the entire length of the Africa Continent, to bring clean and safe water. I can humbly say that I will be this ambassador of change.
Run For Humanity knows that bringing clean and safe water to people, will help not only the villages to get access to the basic needs, but it’s at the heart of these villages that change occurs, from health, to education to economics. Water is everything!
We are going through uncertain and difficult times; it is at such times our contributions matter most. It is our duty to look out for each other’s cultures, communities and people by taking impactful actions.
I will run the entire length of the African continent from Alexandria, Egypt, to Cape Town, South Africa, starting in December 2023. This means a total of more 14 000 km in a little more than a year, across more than 13 countries, 300 marathons, 30 pairs of running shoes, 100s of unexpected events, 1000s of new faces, countless new experiences and a new world record.
I then want to provide water to as many human souls as possible!
